According to CCTV, on May 15, 2025, the first unit of Huadian Jinshangbatang Hydropower Station, a major project of the national "14th Five Year Plan" located in the upper reaches of the Jinsha River, was officially connected to the grid for power generation after 72 hours of trial operation.

Batang Hydropower Station is located on the main stream of Jinsha River at the junction of Batang County, Sichuan Province and Mangkang County, Xizang. It is an important supporting power source for the clean energy base in the upstream of Jinsha River. The power station is equipped with three 250000 kW mixed flow water turbine generators, with a total installed capacity of 750000 kW and an average annual power generation of 3.375 billion kWh, which can supply electricity for 1.75 million households for one year.

All of its control system cabinets, totaling over 200 units, are provided by our company.

As an important peak shaving power source for the world's highest altitude DC transmission channel - the Jinshang to Hubei ultra-high voltage transmission channel, the Batang hydropower station is expected to be fully operational in September this year.
